Set up committees of That Luang Festival and International Trade Fair are pleased to invite the organizations, business units including state and private sectors, which factories participate in Trade Fair of Goods Exhibition set up on

7 – 12/11/2008 at That Luang Public Ground

8 – 16/11/2008 at Lao – Itecc.

The That Luang festival is one of the biggest festivals in Laos. It is usually organized once a year.

The foresaid festival will have the goods sale and exhibition as follows:

Exhibition: the individuals who are required to have the exhibitions which can bring the pictures, example goods or exhibit about cooperation and new science technique developing in your country, province and district with pictures, information and statistics.

The pictures resisted the religion and tradition will be prohibited to exhibit, the goods related to chemical and war weapons will be prohibited to participate in exhibition ceremony.

1./ The exhibition and sale of goods is mainly aimed at the  domestic products, the type to promote education, the product of agriculture, industry and handicraft

2./ The individuals required to participate herein will declare the intention and goods list to be exhibited and sold in the ceremony, which will be reported to committees to know and facilitate in importing through check-point, as for the goods imported from foreign country can import by the international check-point all over country.

   Ground  size 4x4 m2.                           Minimum price: 1.500.000 kip

    Standard Room with size 3x3 m2.     Minimum price: 1.750.000 kip

                                                               Maximum price: 6.000.000 kip/room

Herein is consisted of facilitation as: 2 bulbs, 1 plug, 1 table, 2 chairs, 2 bulbs, shop signboard, cleaning fee and security.

In That Luang festival is the following as:

The ceremony officially opens at 18:00 h

Daytime goods exhibition and sale, traditional entertainment at night.

There is waxy castlet procession in the morning, from Simeung temple to worship the tutelary spirit of city. Afternoon at 14:00 , there will be waxy castlet procession from Patuxay to That Luang stupa and at night listens to Buddhist sermon and have the traditional entertainments.

Morning at 7:00 AM, there is arm giving at That Luang stupa.

Afternoon at 13:30, there is polo procession to worship That Luang stupa, playing polo at That Luang ground.

At night of 20:00, burning rocket and having traditional entertainments.

7./ The individual who are intending to participate and would like to declare the purpose with committees, which shall not exceed 25 October 2008.
