Lao Trade promotion Center, Ministry of Commerce and ASEAN-Japan Centre co- organized the 2nd product contest on March 2004 at LAO-ITECC.
(8 products were awarded second place) The purpose of the even is to: -
Promote Lao product -
Promote the skill labor of Lao -
Looking for the new product of Lao in order to promote for export target -
Promote to use domestic raw materials and protection environment -
Promote job of people.
For implementing this even, LTPC had established the committee which was composed by 7 persons from different representatives as state bellows: -

Mr. Soumana Chounlamany Head of Standard and Quality Division, STEA Member of the committee. -
Mr. KhamUone Duangphachane representative from Department of Handicraft Ministry of Industry and handicraft Member of the committee.
In this product contest there were 71 interest factories in which there were 209 units and 209 items and there are 5 representatives of producers from provinces had joined on this even. The mains products in this even mostly were household products, home decoration products, furniture, and jewelry. |
